Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I gravitate toward acrylic painting and digital art. I’m drawn to texture painting and mixed media that evolve naturally rather than being planned. I let each piece guide me, which can make my process slower, but more honest. This approach extends beyond my work— I’m creating my studio as an immersive experience—something you don’t just look at but walk through—where art becomes a space for feeling, touching, reflection, connection, and self-discovery.

Where do you find inspiration?

Dreams, nature, conversations, memories and just moments. A lot of it comes from within, but also from the energy of people and spaces around me. I’m inspired by creating environments where others can explore themselves and take them out of their everyday lives, which is shaping how I design my studio as an interactive experience. My favorite places for inspiration are solo dates to the museum and being in nature.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into developing my art practice further—upgrading my studio space, learn new skills, materials, and tools so I can create larger, more interactive work. I would also use part of it to document my work professionally so I can share it with a wider audience and grow my opportunities as an artist. And yes, a responsible portion will inevitably disappear into bills, adulting and staying alive.
