I make art because the world refuses to sit still. Paint is simply the most polite way I know To negotiate with chaos.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create figurative work that refuses to settle. Bodies in transition. Faces that behave like doors. I’m drawn to that precise moment where beauty destabilizes And the painting becomes a negotiation between control And something far less obedient.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in what misbehaves. Dreams. Symbols. Moments that don’t resolve. Anything that lingers past its welcome Usually has something to say. I follow it until it takes shape.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d put it straight into the work. Scale Materials And space to match my ambition. Larger paintings. A real studio. And the time and stability To push further into what’s already there.
