I create to express the inexpressible, explore identity, find meaning, and express poetically my humanist values.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Mixed media, poetry, sculpture and collage. I cut, brush, hammer, texture and polish aluminium until it carries humanist poetry. I also explore acrylics, collage, pastel, found objects, eco-dying, cold wax and encaustic to enrich my visual language. This hybrid approach lets me capture complexity that a single form cannot.
Where do you find inspiration? In landscapes, fragments of life, and the tension between beings and nature. My inspiration comes from environmental urgencies, social struggles, and the defense of dignity and peace. I observe how strength and fragility coexist - in light on metal, on a leaf, in a worn object. Each artwork begins as an abstraction of that observation.
What would you do with $25,000?Secure a studio with proper ventilation for aluminium work. Buy materials for a new serie on human dignity. Fund a solo exhibition with bilingual poetry captions. Attend a month-long artist residency. Publish an artist book linking my work to reflections on peace, identity, nature and our changing world. Offer free monthly community workshops in undeserved neighborhood.
