Creating art is one of the most natural feeling things I do. I feel I am better at expressing myself with images than with my words.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to convey thoughts, ideas and messages through large conceptual art paintings. I mostly work with acrylic paint and often incorporate modeling paste for texture. My goal is for my art to invoke thoughts in the viewer that they would not typically think about.
Where do you find inspiration? Most of my inspiration comes from music. Music has the amazing ability to inspire people to do great things as well as heighten their emotional state. I draw on those emotions to inspire my work. I’m also inspired by the Old Masters. Their talents and dedication to the arts moves me and inspires me to be a better artist.
What would you do with $25,000?As well as purchasing a few more easels and a ton of canvas, paint, and lumber, I would like to start sculpting. This would give me the opportunity to purchase the tools and materials needed to delve into that medium.
