I love to create because it is what we were meant to do. It is what separates us from the animals. It is our birthright.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Visuals are by far my favorite way to help others to feel, to wonder, and to remember that they are still human. I strive to activate emotion, memory, and awareness. I aim to wrap you up in love, to question your reality and to scare you into action.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from life on this forgotten and desecrated paradise we call home, and all the aspects that intertwine our collective existence. We are unique in our experiences, participants in the chaos and alone in our struggles. Our love and hate define us, connect and separate us, but life is too short to be bound by fear, indifference and malevolence. So I choose to live, love, laugh and create.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest in tools that will help evolve and enhance my craft, prepare for an uncertain future, and ensure a legacy for my newborn son who has come to experience life in the most tumultuous of times. He deserves to live the safe, boundless, dignified life I was denied. I would also enjoy a steak dinner, which I haven't had in a while. Aaah, bliss, I've missed you.
