I’m most in love with oil and egg tempera painting, but like any true creative I cannot limit myself to one medium. I also really love collaging and making jewelry. I play around with many materials including metal, clay, found objects and natural elements. I like to repurpose as many materials as possible to create sustainably.

I draw inspiration from the bits of ordinary life that are overlooked. The seeds of a fruit, broken toys, trash on the street; so on and so forth. My artwork largely addresses sociopolitical issues of identity and mental health awareness. I find it is often the things we rarely pay attention to that offer the most curiosity. I am also fascinated by the juxtaposition of what is considered wasteful and valuable in different cultures and find a lot of inspiration in those variables as well.

Realistically, I would first pay off my debts, then I would treat my mother to a portion of the money. She is my biggest support and the sole reason I am the artist and individual I am today. I would not be anywhere without her. I would want to travel to different parts of the world to broaden the materiality and techniques of my art practice and I would take my mother with me.
