I love expressionistic art. Art that portrays and instills any sense of strong emotion. I want my art to be something you experience; something you don't just see, but feel.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in a lot of things. Little things, like trips to the antique store or walks through a cemetery on a cloudy day. In the world around me, like in people, nature, and within art itself in its many forms. Storytelling, music, other's visual art. While not quite a musician myself, I have a strong emotional connection to music. And most importantly, I find inspiration from within. From my own past experiences and emotions. Trauma and achievements. Life.
What would you do with $25,000?Short answer: I'd pay off my student debt. Long answer: I'd free myself from my past. While over halfway through college, the sinking feeling of 'this is not my life' started to settle in. I made the crushing decision to leave. It felt as if my life had been ripped from under my feet. For a while there, I lost who I was. I lost passion. I lost my art. But after many years of healing, I'm starting to find myself again. The ground is under my feet again. And this would help me start over again.
