As a person who struggles with social anxiety, art acts as my voice. It speaks for me when Im at loss for words.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I primarily focus on surreal pen and ink drawings that focus on my research of the natural world. I find animal adaptations that I find unique and try to make drawings that reflect the strange world we live in. This Biomimicry makes for some strange drawings that I find fun and engaging.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in strange and surreal environments by studying and reinterpreting nature’s adaptations. By drawing these forms of biomimicry, I use natural design as a foundation for new and unexpected worlds.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to market my work and share my vision of the world we live in. I want to reach more people who connect with the themes in my art and the way I see nature and form. This would help me build a wider audience and bring more attention to the ideas behind my work.
