My favorite art to create is natural images. There is so much beauty in nature and I feel as though, today society isn’t connected to it. I love using watercolor and acrylic to bring the colors of nature to life to show how important it is to acknowledge the beauty within it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration through life experiences and feelings. In one of my series I created drawings, paintings, and collages of natural images that demonstrate human feelings and emotions. I was inspired everyday by watching and observing nature. On my way home from school I was looking outside the window and saw geese flying together and it sparked a connection in my brain to how humans rely on each-other. We are so out of touch with nature, but we are so similar and we should be one with it.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 would go towards my college tuition so I can create a better future for myself. I don’t have the money for college and neither do my parents. I am going to college to become a nurse to help people, but I also want to minor in art and become a tattoo artist on the side as well. Although I’m not going to be an art major I still want art to be in my life, like it always has been.
