I love to create because it feels like the most honest expression of who I am. Whether I’m sculpting, painting, making clothing, or acting,

It’s a challenging question because my connection to different forms of art evolves with my emotions and life experiences. If I were to narrow it down, I’m especially drawn to sculptural bas-relief work and the process of designing and bringing fashion to life; both allow me to work with my hands, shaping form and dimension in a way that feels deeply expressive. I’m naturally drawn to beauty and femininity, and I enjoy reflecting that through my work.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration for my bas-relief work in botanicals, desert landscapes, and natural forms, especially in the way light moves across layered surfaces. I’m drawn to spaces that feel both raw and refined, where simplicity still holds depth. In fashion, I look to history for inspiration, particularly in silhouette, texture, and movement. I enjoy taking those elements and bringing them into a more modern, wearable perspective, creating pieces that feel timeless, elevated, and effortlessly chic.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to help transition into building my studio practice and business. Much of my work has been created in the margins (between long hours/responsibilities)yet the vision has always been clear. This support would give me the space to complete and expand my work with the level of precision and presence it deserves, allowing me to move from fragments into fully realized pieces. It would be the difference between creating when I can, and creating at the level I’m truly capable of
