I create art to process mass-trauma events that have directly affected my loved ones, while encouraging healing through visual art.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating art that invites viewers to consider purpose and empathy as lived experiences. Through experimentation, I combine conventional and unconventional materials to explore texture, weight, and contrast. My work may include portraiture, architectural scenes, or landscapes rendered as contemporary representational or abstracted art.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in honoring the lives of people who have made an impact in their communities, as well as people who did not have the opportunity to reach their full potential due to traumatic events.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money open a community art studio and gallery, providing a safe, creative outlet for youth, seniors, and veterans.
