The grant to The Art of Elysium will come from donations generated through votes by donation during the competition. 100% of donations made through the competition will go directly to Action Initiative Team (AIT), which will subsequently grant donation funds (minus competition fees/costs and a nominal percentage (1%) retained by AIT) to the organization.

Each artist is randomly assigned a group at the beginning of the competition. There are multiple rounds in the competition, and each person is only competing against the others within the same group during each round. We make every effort to ensure that groups contain an equal number of competitors throughout the competition.

Since winners are decided based upon votes the public casts, we do not issue refunds once a vote has been fully processed in our system. Yes! Every vote by donation is a direct donation to Action Initiative Team (AIT), a 501(c)(3) charity. Votes by donation are deductible for federal income tax purposes. AIT will subsequently make the grant to The Art of Elysium after the winner is announced. Donors will receive a receipt via email.
