Sculptures that emphasize traditional form and textures. Abstract innovative work is also at the top of my list, I love art work that has a message to go along with the visual appeal of my work.
Where do you find inspiration?In old archival documents and traditional artworks made by my ancestors. I’m also inspired by textures and forms seen in nature.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the money into expanding my studio because currently the scale in which I am able to create is very limited. I would love to have a larger space to create one of a kind sculptures year-round. My dream is to build big metal sculptures that can be interactive and engaging.
