I love, that art can be found in literally everything. Since I can remember, I have always seen things go together, creating new purpose!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m growing fond of dada sculptures. They often tell a story, in a single simple “found” piece. I also love building my own unique canvases to support the heavy epoxy resin mediums I use! Incorporating found pieces, and sometimes even including audio systems; to crest unique “mixed media” pieces.
Where do you find inspiration?Every day life experience. Emotions tied to certain things, like 1 line phrases. Also, I find inspiration from God, seeing His beauty in all things; both old and new. I believe that His restoration of me, shows through the crations of my own projects. And my fiancé Sonya Sue, she’s my inspiration too :) I really hope to raise more mental health awareness, and being a living donor; advocating for more kidney awareness.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to open, or sponsor a workshop. To teach local people, who may be repressed or less fortunate; how to restore. Rather it’s vintage furniture, art, or anything else; we have an abundance of old things to make new, and with purpose. Like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, has done with me. I would love to be able to give more back.
