When my mind is too full and there are no words for my feelings-I can always turn to art to help release those heavy thoughts.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I really enjoy charcoal, pen & paper art work. I also love painting and have gone back and forth with both acrylics and oils. Mixed media is my all time favorite, incorporating a variety of media on stretched canvas.
Where do you find inspiration?Anywhere, if I’m being honest. From feelings and emotions, to others art styles and my every day-to-day life. When my emotions are too strong to hold inside, art is the way I can let those strong feelings escape. Not always is my art work reflective of how I’m feeling, but more so where I am I life. Using this outlet to explore and to create has been so comforting for me.
What would you do with $25,000?Create an art studio for me and my daughter, who is also showing budding artist potential. I want a space where she and I can be creative that is not restrictive or uncomfortable. Also pay off some of my debt and put most of it away for my own two children’s future education, with whatever they choose to pursue.
