Art for me is a way of life. It has been with me throughout many phases, and all the ups and downs. It’s my one constant in life.

I love creating acrylic paintings on cotton canvas, usually with organic compositions like flowers and landscapes. They aren’t traditional—they sit somewhere between impressionism and expressive work. I love creating pieces that aren’t meant to be understood at a quick glance. It might be a flower or landscape, but I want there to be an emotional pull that draws you in and makes you feel something. Art that ignites emotion, the way music does, is what I’m after.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through color and music. While I always paint flowers and landscapes, the inspiration isn’t directly from a flower I see or a landscape I capture. It’s color that catches me first—like a paint color on a building in France, or a shiny red car parked in a muted stone alley. That’s where it starts. Then I let the music play in the studio and run with the emotion I’m feeling and the color combos I have found.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 would allow me to step out of the constant create-and-sell cycle and focus on building a full collection. Right now, I’m often creating piece by piece to stay afloat, which limits how deeply I can develop my work. This support would cover materials and give me the time to slow down, be more intentional, and create a body of work that feels more cohesive, powerful, and impactful.
