I love to create art because it’s what fulfills my purpose in life. I was so lost in life before I found my passion for creation.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I wouldn't exactly say I have a favorite. What I enjoy to create changes depending on my point in life and where Im at. However, Ive consistently enjoyed painting throughout every stage of my life. Ive always enjoyed portraits, painting unique features of people has always been fascinating to me. Lately Ive tried adding abstraction into those pieces, to push myself further and challenge my abilities.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration through other artists around me. This can be through music or dance, and of course physical media artist. Their passion inspires me, and the feeling that is evoked from their art manifests in me to create something that draws that same feeling. Im just so inspired as to what each individual creates and how different everyone’s passion is, that it fuels my own.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to win $25,000, it would go towards helping me pay for my college tuition. Im going to be a Junior in college this coming fall, and its been rough thus far paying for college, so this money would help me tremendously.
