Oil paint or clay. Both of which I don’t do as much as I’d like. I love working with my hands so clay is a given. However I love the buttery texture when working with oil. It relaxes me.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from God first, and from the emotions I experience while creating each piece. I also think about how others will feel when they view my work. Both inspire me to keep pushing forward, even when I feel like giving up.
What would you do with $25,000?I would build a studio in my local town near my current Vincent Van Gogh themed Airbnb. That is where the backsplash is that I built. I would call the art studio “The Yellow House” somewhere local artist can gather and rent studio space. Just like Vincent envisioned.
