Receive Text UpdatesI find shapes and ruins from history or literature books fascinating. They tell stories; they were first imagined, then brought into reality. Due to life circumstances, I could not give my time and attention to my passion for arts until just recently. I love painting animals, I am fascinated by their patterns, colors, & most especially their expressive eyes. I know that I am not there yet, but someday I would love to be able to capture their emotions & their majestic presence through my artwork.
Where do you find inspiration?Sometimes, it just randomly comes to me, the animal I want to paint. For a very long time, I gravitated towards wild cats; they have such a strong pensive presence. Their eyes are full of wisdom, and they have that quiet power in them. I watch a lot of nature related TV shows, and I follow a lot of nature wildlife photographers in SM and I get my inspiration from them. They share stories of nature, they capture such majestic presence and inspire me to try my best and paint them on my canvas.
What would you do with $25,000?I’ve never had such huge money. I would love to pay it forward; I want to make donations to organizations who are dear to us. Even though my dog and I live a simple life and sometimes barely get by, we’re happy whenever we get to share some blessings to rescue groups and shelters. We would love to share some to those in need. Of course, some will help cover expenses and hopefully be able to invest some in my artistic endeavors. I have never sold a piece and hopefully someday soon I will!
