What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art comes from flow - pulling faces, memories, and fragments from my mind’s eye as my hand moves freely. I’m drawn to patterns, layers, and the separation of elements, letting them collide into one piece. It becomes a merging of multiple realities, coexisting on a single surface, shaped by instinct and intention. Like overhead maps of intersecting lines, each individual shape its own room or corridor. All connected, but seperate.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in a world that feels disordered and gamified. It drives my desire for wellness, for myself and others. I believe art helps ground us while opening new ways to see and feel. I create to explore that balance, hoping my work is not only beautiful, but nourishing - something that can give back, impacts the viewer, and adds meaning rather than taking it away. Feeds instead of starves. Often ask myself in what manner could this creation speak to me and others, in ways beyond myself

What would you do with $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d expand my studio in Marfa, Texas and invest directly into my art practice. I’d upgrade tools, materials, and the space itself, creating an environment that supports deeper focus. It would also buy me time - less carpentry work and gig work just to get by, and more energy devoted to making. I’d use it to build a space and rhythm where I can fully commit to creating and shaping a more intentional, beautiful reality. More ART. More Time. Improved infrastructure.
