My favorite type of art has always been character designing, I’ve been making my own characters since I was 8 and now I want to share their stories. My favorite mediums has always been traditional sketch booking and digital art. I strive on making my sketchbook pages expressive and creative, and most importantly not taking it too seriously. While with digital art I always try to step out of my comfort zone, like with color palettes and styles. What’s most important about it is that I have fun.

I find inspiration in my own life and experiences. All my characters and stories have little influences from friends and family. My main inspiration lately has been my younger brother, he’s still young but already an amazing artist and kid, I’m so proud of now. He gives me so much inspiration and encouragement to do art. Along with that so many animated shows, especially in the indie animation world has given me so much hope and inspiration that it could be my stories there to soon.

I thought I’d never have a chance to go an art college. This money can give me some comfort in looking at colleges I’ve been admiring for years outside my area without the suffocating fear and disengagement of money. I know I have so much more I want to learn about art and art schools not only help me but also give connections that can help further my dreams of sharing my own stories. Also I would use the money to support my brother, has so much creativity and I will support him how I wish I was
