Creating art challenges your brain to create what you’re looking for in a sense. To express your imagination and what you can make with it.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!

Receive Text UpdatesI’ve been using spray paint since I was a little kid to write my name and doodle on walls. My favorite medium to use is spray paint to create large scale graffiti style portraits/murals. Under bridges or in alley ways tend to be the most common canvas for me. A big wall to write my name or display an image I can’t get out of my head.
Where do you find inspiration?I get my inspiration from people. I’ll often sit down on a bench or chair for thirty minutes sometimes an hour before I start painting. Just to watch people exist. I’ll pic someone out from a crowd that stands out to me and use them as my reference. I pick people that give off a specific type of energy through the way they move. I’ll try to capture that movement in the painting I make for them. They usually never find out I painted them.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money for more supplies for larger scale paintings. I would also use it for other creative projects I’ve been wanting to put into action that I haven’t started due to lack of funding.
