I enjoy the mind’s eye and its capability to express in different platforms and formats.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Art with meaning and depth that requires engagement to understand everything going on in the piece. Whether photography, line art, Freeform, or pastels.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in thought, an experience, a sensation, a memory. Capturing the expression of a setting “like sitting on a rustic balcony in the Sicilian Messina region first thing in the morning having a small glass with crushed ice muddled with lime and fresh poured cold pellegrino.” Art is how an artist interprets the emotion of an experience into an art form and those snapshots, balconies, and/or moments are where I find my inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?Provide a style of experience for a young artist and help them find their balcony to form memories and inspire art. I believe in running at “net zero” and that includes every indulgence and every experience. Meaning the cash prize is only valuable if there is a lesson or experience gained that can have an output equal or more valuable than the cost. We only exist on this plane and in this vessel once and I plan to continue to embody my MO “Tandem Mori” or “Die Last”. Own the experience…
