I really love pencil and ink. They have always been there for me. The softness, the depth at times, the way they can create grooves in the paper. Being able to touch it with my fingertips. It can relay the artist’s anxiety, pain, and joy. While each stroke can tell a story, so can the feel of it on the type of paper used.
Where do you find inspiration?find inspiration in humanity the internal battle of their choices, the goodness within and the evil. How their emotions can be worn on them without them even knowing it. The essence of a person can flood a room or be so light that it forces someone to pay attention..
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, I’d go on vacation with a sketchbook and some ink to see the world. Then I’d take time to finish some of my projects—give myself space to complete the final pieces I can only finish in solitude. Finish my grandfather’s book about how he survived world war 2. surprise my sister so her dream of flying can come true. She wants her pilot’s license but can’t afford it. it.
