What is your favorite type of art to create?

I love creating sculptural paintings and installations that feel cosmic, alive, and immersive. My work often uses texture, light, and irregular forms to explore survival, transformation, and our connection to something larger than ourselves.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in stars, the cosmic web, spiritual questions, my Nigerian/Yoruba background, and the emotional weight of being alive. I’m drawn to how pressure creates light, how destruction creates new life, and how imagination helps us understand the divine.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use $25,000 to bring my art to life by expanding my sculptural work into a larger immersive installation. The funding would support materials, fabrication, movement, lighting, documentation, and public access, helping me create work people can physically enter, feel, and remember.
