Art no matter what form, is without a doubt an expression of who I am. When I create I am expressing the essence of my being.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to take physical and natural beauty, being people of all cultures and ethnicities, or raw materials; being a wine glass next to an aged bottle. Maybe an image of someone in motion. There is a beauty in making those sketches as realistic as possible, and then turning them into 3 dimensional masterpieces.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from what consistently pokes at my spirit, and not from what just satisfies my artistic eye alone. The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun, so I can be inspired by the same things as thousands of other artist by sight. However, you gotta tap into my spirit to know what I am creating next.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest in more materials, equipment, and raw woods to create my own personal frames. I would also take a couple of trips to visit some of the top art museums I could afford. From that experience, I know I could draw more inspiration from.
