I love art unconditionally. It chooses me for some reason. Even when I am not inside my art studio, I feel a state of inspiration daily.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
It is probably a mix of traditionalism, myths and Sci-fi. I like to create art that has a good equilibrium in therms of overall feeling as viewed as a whole piece, yet to have some elements to be discovered each time you look at it again.
Where do you find inspiration? This is a tricky one. I have some artists that are my muse. Hajime Sorayama for his futuristic style, Luis Royo for his dramatic cinematic heroic women and others less known artists that are inspired by modern pop culture. When I have creative lapses I go tough on myself and listen to music that puts me in a state of manifestation. To check big auction house of art created centuries ago is also a very helpful driving motivational force.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 for a young artist is life changing. If I would have this amount of money I would make sure art never stops. Since I have enough art materials for the near future, I would invest a part of this money to polish my message and to reach a wider audience. I would also buy some art books. Maybe pay a magazine or two to spread the word about what I pursue. I really think that we get back exactly the amount we put in so in case I get to be the lucky winner I will accept the blessing.
