I am committed to creating and sharing work that connects people beyond beliefs or backgrounds, in our deepest levels of humanity.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is work that creates a space for discovery and connection. I am drawn to pieces where viewers encounter traces of experience, through nature, movement, and memory, and form their own emotional response. I work across materials depending on the concept, from drawing and painting to installation and sculpture, always guided by the idea of perception, instability, and shared human and natural experience.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from everyday moments where attention slows down: walking, observing light, and noticing subtle changes in nature and urban environments. I am drawn to traces of movement, animal behavior, and natural systems, as well as unexpected moments when memory is triggered through sensory experience. These fragments shape my work as I translate fleeting perceptions into visual forms.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would continue developing my artistic practice focused on the relationship between humans, nature, and perception. The funds would support studio time, materials, and production of new work, as well as two upcoming exhibitions and an Art Miami Week invitation. I would also invest in research and workshops to deepen my process and expand work that creates connections between lived experience, natural systems, and shared perception.
