I paint to quiet the noise in my mind. Creating is how I understand the world.

Intuitive, textured paintings that merge surrealism with cultural roots. Inspired by the Sonoran desert, I intertwine nature, symbolism, and personal storytelling. I allow each piece to unfold intuitively, letting the canvas guide me, revealing layers and elements as the work comes to life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the Sonoran desert, its textures, resilience, and quiet intensity. My roots, family, and memories influence the stories I tell, along with moments of introspection and emotional healing. I’m drawn to the connection between nature and identity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25k in building a life rooted in creativity. I would expand my painting practice creating new work, exploring larger pieces, and sharing stories inspired by my culture and the Sonoran desert. I would also invest in my second passion, creating art through food by growing my food truck. As a single mother, this opportunity would allow me to support my family while turning both of my passions into a sustainable future. For me, art is not just expression. It’s survival and legacy
