What is your favorite type of art to create?

I've always loved animals, and have studied wildlife art. My favorite medium is watercolour, and now I'm experimenting with gouache. I'm also a participant in an online community of other women artists, we meet once a week on a zoom call and learn something new each week. I'm learning portraiture now, and finding it very insightful

Where do you find inspiration?

Nature! I live in a rural part of Washington State, right on the edge of Olympic national park. We have a small farm, w goats, sheep and poultry. Lots of wildlife in this area

What would you do with $25,000?

Spend time in Scotland. My grandparents came here in the 1920s. I visited the UK when I was 17, and Scotland was the most beautiful place Ive ever seen. I must have left my heart there, because, 50 years later, my heart is still in the highlands. I want to travel around there and paint plenaire, and who knows, find my heart again
