I create art to make sense of change, hold onto memories, and turn emotion into something lasting.

My favorite art to create is self portrait and mixed media work. I love combining paint, texture, collage, and personal details to tell stories about identity, growth, and the moments that shape us. A lot of my work reflects where I am in life—balancing school, change, and the people and memories I do not want to lose.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the people closest to me, old photos, music, late-night thoughts, and the small details of everyday life. I am especially inspired by transitions and the feeling of growing into yourself. As someone who has gone through a lot of change, creating art helps me turn those experiences into something meaningful.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to finally give myself the space and resources to grow as an artist. I would invest in supplies, a studio setup, and the chance to create work without worrying about cost. I would also use it to build a portfolio, enter more shows, and share my work with a bigger audience so the stories behind it can reach people who need them.
