I love creating art because it allows me to dream. With a pencil and paper, I can go anywhere… and that’s incredibly freeing.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Over the last few years, I’ve found my home in oil painting. I love creating emotive, dramatic scenes immersed in warm tones. Creating cinematic art that transports and flows is what fascinates me the most.
Where do you find inspiration? My work explores characters, stories, and themes rooted in the Christian faith. My own spiritual journey has profoundly shaped my paintings, especially the questions the Bible raises about human existence—love, grief, hope, sacrifice, and what it means to live in a broken world. I love the possibility that reality extends beyond what we can physically perceive and what that means about who we are.
What would you do with $25,000?Oh boy! If I won $25,000, I would love to invest more deeply in my art and take meaningful steps toward building a professional career. I would use it to create a stronger studio environment, expand my work, and better organize and promote myself so I can share my paintings with a wider audience. It’s a little daunting, but exciting! I hope I can make it work!
