Though art is subjective along with everything else, I love creating to help people feel a sense of emotion through their own perception.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is abstract artwork, still life’s and sculptures. I like to play around with different shapes, colors and textures. It is important to me to create art that people can feel, whether that be emotionally, spiritually or just giving them something to imagine beyond their physical perception of the piece itself.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life. Whether that be driving or strolling past a beautiful scenery in the city, to whatever emotional state Im in on certain occasions that inspire me to express through art what I cannot verbally communicate.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 dollars as an investment. A big goal of mine is to one day open an art gallery of my own, where my work will also be available for purchase. My plan is for 10% of each piece of artwork that is sold will go towards a non profit that I am currently pursuing. The earnings would aid in providing a more habitable environment and beneficial resources to the homeless or less fortunate around the west Los Angeles community.
