I give away my art to friends or get commissioned. It's a way I show my love to people. I love creating something out of nothing.

I like to create paintings usually out of royalty free reference photos, either one or sometimes numerous pictures. My go to favorite subject to paint is horses and animals but after I discovered a talent to do portraits, I started to do Christian/Catholic art. It takes me much longer, but it is much more meaningful to me. However, recently my art skills are improving and I am becoming faster and more precise. I always encourage constructive criticism from other talented artists.
Where do you find inspiration? In nature and other art. Also, commissions help me foray into subjects of painting I never considered, like the antique truck. I also like to find inspiration amongst photographs I have taken. I will sometimes create a scene to photograph. Occasionally I will create an image using AI because creating imaginary art is not my strong-suit.
What would you do with $25,000?I make different Catholic prayer cards out of my religious paintings. I also have 2 collaborators who have shared their art on the cards. On my favorite card, I wrote a letter with inspiration from the Holy Spirit with the salutation: My Precious Child, closing with: Your Loving Father, God. I asked God to give me a message for a friend who attempted suicide a year prior. I wrote the sentences on the back of a receipt and compiled it into the existing letter on the card. The 19 cards are free.
