art is an opportunity to express my opinions and views through a visually abstract lens with the goal of provoking questions from others.

I take personal interest in creating abstract surrealism. Forcing my own opinion to be challenged by what I’m making, or by reinforcing what has been already formed. Creating beautiful visuals to help conversations with myself and the audience that can help grow one another. My medium of choice is doing acrylic paintings and making my own canvas. This allows me to make whatever comes to my head, letting the creative mind do its own job and working around the vision.
Where do you find inspiration? My personal opinion is inspiration is everywhere, but I do believe there will always be an object, or circumstance that sticks out to a person. I get majority of my inspiration from my depression when I first started painting. To me this was an anchor, something that could keep me grounded and allowed me to think without speaking. I keep coming back to this period in my life as it has negatives and positives, but ultimately it has strong emotions attached, creating visually stunning pieces.
What would you do with $25,000?As someone who is currently still a student it would help pay for my art school degree, buying materials, textbooks, all of the necessity’s. This would also help me jump start my art journey. Helping my audience grow, fund materials to create new thought provoking artwork that can better society, and help people converse together as a community. As someone so young there are ideas constantly flowing and I would love to be able to share them with the world.
