You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favourite art to make are large oil paintings. I find oil to be a more sensual experience than acrylic, and I like the depth and richness of the end result.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature. I find inspiration in familiar faces; mainly my children's. I find inspiration in movement; particularly dance, and specifically the figure in classical ballet. I find inspiration in wildlife photography. I especially like old National Geographic magazines. I like taxidermy; as in the National History museums of my youth.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would convert my garage into a studio space, as I like to paint very large, and I feel restricted by not having enough space.
