My art is to discover naturally formed sculptures from wood and stone. The creation process is to expose for others to appreciate the shape that has been formed by nature over hundreds to thousands of years.
Where do you find inspiration?I am inspired and influenced by Japanese Suiseki , Yakisugi methods, and the Wabi Sabi approach.
What would you do with $25,000?The $25,000 prize would be used to invest into a mentoring program for new sculpture artists on Salt Spring Island, B.C., and to support marketing of H.ART projects in Canada and Internationally.
