I use art to explore emotion and identity, turning expression into something people can feel.

I’m most drawn to photography. I love capturing real, unfiltered moments and turning them into something meaningful. A single image can hold emotion, identity, and a story all at once, and I’m drawn to finding those moments others might overlook. I also love taking photos of people- it makes me so happy to see their emotions portrayed in the images and their reactions to the final product whether it’s senior photos, graduation photos, creative shoots, or even prom photos.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life including people, fleeting moments, and raw emotion. I’m inspired by the small details most overlook: light, movement, and expression. I also draw from my own experiences and identity, using photography as a way to reflect and better understand myself and the world around me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to help pay for college, where I plan to major in photography, so I can fully commit to developing my craft. I’d also invest in better camera equipment and editing tools, and fund personal projects that explore identity and emotion. With those resources, I’d be able to grow as an artist and share work that connects with others and makes people feel seen.
