I love to create art because it pushes my skills to grow, and to make me try new techniques, creating a beautiful piece.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create subject wise is typically that of still life or flowers. Lately though because of my college drawing class, it has pushed me to try drawing myself in unique ways. I am not the best at drawing people, or self portraits, so the challenge was very daunting. However, the experience of drawing myself for this piece was so exciting and fun. This was the first time I had ever drawn in this way and I was proud of the result!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my surroundings most of the time. Here and there I will see something interesting on social media though and attempt to recreate it or make something unique from it to keep up my skill and test myself.
What would you do with $25,000?Gosh. There is so much I could do with that much money. But what would be the best thing for me to do would be to save the $25,000 in order to help pay for my next year of college. I am a student who relies on financial aid to attend college. With the possibility of that being taken away under this administration, I am facing a very intimidating issue of potentially having to come up with that money, go in debt, or stop pursuing my dream career. This money would help me continue my dream.
