I love creating art because it lets me interpret the world in my own way and share the emotions and perspectives behind what I see.

At the moment, I’m really into landscapes. I think there’s so much wonder in the world that people often miss, but as an artist, everywhere I look I see something amazing. these scenes not only look visually beautiful, but it also gives me a sense of being in that moment. That feeling is intoxicating, and it makes me want to recreate and share that moment through my paintings
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration almost everywhere when it comes to art. Artists like Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet inspire me, along with the world around me. Growing up in Southern California, I’ve been inspired by hills, mountains, sunsets, clouds, and lakes. I’m also inspired by human achievement. A town in a valley isn’t just a town to me, it’s a story built by thousands of people. I want my art to capture that feeling of wonder and appreciation.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would use it to further my art career by paying for more opportunities, art submissions, and supplies, especially larger canvases. It would allow me to create more paintings and build a wider selection for galleries. I would also use some of the money for travel, since traveling inspires me and helps me gather reference images for my work.
