For me, art is not separate from lifeāit is life itself. I create because it is the most truthful way to express emotion, memory, humanity..

People and nature.
Where do you find inspiration? My work is rooted in the emotional landscape of the people, in a profound connection with nature, and in deeply personal memories—particularly the way my mother spoke during her manic-depressive episodes. In those moments, she wove past, present, and future into a single, fluid reality. That temporal dissolution and layered of experience continue to inform my artistic vision, shaping a language that seeks to reconcile memory, time, and human vulnerability.
What would you do with $25,000?If awarded $25,000, I would investi in a focused body of work that expands my ongoing exploration of memory, time, and human experience, while also strengthening my capacity to share that work with the public. A significant portion would support the creation of new large-scale paintings and works on paper, including the acquisition of archival materials, studio time, and specialized processes integral to my practice.
