Being creative helps me cope and express my emotions in a healthy way. It is the way I thrive and survive, even in my most difficult times.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I've always been passionate about drawing to painting portraits. But the more grow my creativity, the more I've been interested in finding different ways to stay creative. Drawing, Painting, Graphic Design, Video Editing (creating content). One day I want to learn photography, design clothing, and even make music.
Where do you find inspiration?I find it in the success of my favorite artists, musicians, influencers, and even movies on how they talk about how they thrive on their creations. Their motivational speeches inspire me to keep going! Regardless of what people say negatively. Growing up I've always been told to go to collage, play it safe, and work in the medical industry. But I know if I did that, I'd lose my purpose. It'll crush my soul, spirit, and mental health. I stay true to myself for my sanity.
What would you do with $25,000?My main goal is to prove that you can build the life that you want with your dreams and aspirations as long as you stay focused and don't let any negative opinions distract you from it! This opportunity would give me a fresh start for me and my family. I would use it to pay off my debt, fix the repairs in my home, and invest in my business. Aside from a fresh start, I want to become a creative artist business woman.
