When making art I am my biggest self. I am boundless and feel free. I revel in the making and am so often surprised by the results.

I love alcohol ink painting because it's so intuitive and resists tight control. If I tune into my gut feelings and intuit my way along, I am often surprised.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature, spiritual teachings, and other artists inspire me constantly. Hardships and life experiences and the resilience to the human spirt are also incredible sources of inspiration. I have a special needs child and have met grief and sorrow head on and still persevering and have rediscovered joy. I have found wisdom and seek to both heal and express this through my artwork.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate $5000 to The Life House, in Atlanta, a respite center for families with children with special needs. I would l donate $5000 to The Verland Foundation, where my own disabled child lives, and I would save the remainder to grow my art studio (marketing, supplies, hiring a bookkeeper).
