I like experimenting with color and material like spray paint, enamles, oil paint, acrilyc and gold leaf, also processess in order to find interesting accidents and let the material act to make different effects. From there I like to look for forms or superpose an image and play. I like to paint people I admire and learn about them in the process sometimes it's like having a deep conversation. Battles and war are a recurring topic even if I would like peace I think maybe its part of life.
Where do you find inspiration?Other paintings with interesting composition like The Battle of Angiari, color paletts, stylized figurative art. Music, literature, poems, philosophy, ontology, taoism, and my life. I like to read or listen to audiobooks, and look at a lot of art, watch movies. Foucault, Batille, Aratud, Rimabaud, Nietzche,
What would you do with $25,000?Buy lots of material for painting, books, rent a space in order to paint large formats and be able to invite other people and kids to paint freely where we could throw paint everywhere and work without worry. Have feasts with other artist friends, poets, musicians, writers who have chosen the path of art, we could eat and drink and paint, talk. Paint the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanos.
