Painting and drawing as ways of translating and configuring the world, exploring the city, inner impulses, constructed natures and migration

I am especially drawn to painting and drawing as primary forms of creation. Through them, I explore the city and its architectures, inner impulses, and constructed natures. My practice reflects my experience as a migrant, using images to translate and reconfigure the world, while engaging questions of context, labor, and power.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in books, daily life, and my surroundings. The city, its architectures, and the experience of moving through different contexts shape my visual language. I am also guided by inner impulses, memories, and the condition of being a migrant, which allows me to observe and reinterpret the world through drawing and painting as acts of translation.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would continue developing my artistic practice with greater stability. It would allow me to pay for my studio, secure materials, and dedicate more time to creating. This support would strengthen my ongoing projects, including my podcast and research, while expanding opportunities to exhibit, publish, and collaborate within the contemporary art field.
