We tend to lose our inner child. It’s my purpose to keep this world bright with beautiful and large scale art that keeps the child alive.

My personal favorite are sculptures, especially with a mosaic finish. Greatly inspired by Gaudi, I’m trying to do enormous things that can live one forever. Secondarily, I love murals. Overall anything large scale.
Where do you find inspiration?I look towards my inner child and ask what it is that he would love to see. This is why most of my work is large in scale and bright in colors. I draw from my Russian heritage, my Brooklyn upbringing and the street art and graffiti culture that shaped my adolescence —translating those influences into something bigger than myself.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it mainly to help me get materials and cover my shop expenses so I can focus on building a collection for this year. I want to make some magical mosaic concepts. I also want to install a couple of them around New York and possibly even further out to spread that creative joy and love. With the $25,000, we all should somehow benefit. Not just myself alone. Art is for sharing.
