Painting is my main focus, though I’m experienced in many mediums. It’s where I can translate my emotions most clearly through color. I see color as its own language—an interesting form of communication that goes beyond words. I love painting because it’s my way of journaling. Each brushstroke becomes a sentence, and each pigment is a word that captures how I feel in the moment.
Where do you find inspiration?Currently I’m working on a series inspired by childhood memories and primary colors—blue, red, and yellow. These are the foundation of all art, the first tools we use to understand and imagine the world through crayons, books, and toys. Red is emotion before restraint, yellow is joy and creativity before self-doubt, and blue is quiet childhood reflection. Together they represent raw, vivid memory and a time before life became complicated, when expression was fearless and true.
What would you do with $25,000?As a young emerging artist, I’m still building the foundation of my practice, and financial support is a major challenge. If I received $25,000, I would use it to support my practice—covering materials, studio costs, and the time needed to fully dedicate myself to developing my work.
