I create art because it allows me to breathe where words fall short. In the quiet space between emotion and expression, art becomes my voice

My favorite art to create is recycled art made from plastic bottles. I love the transformation of something that pollutes us into meaningful works that symbolize healing, and a new narrative. The process of smashing and reshaping the plastic allows me to release stress and emotions while creating a new narrative through art. Through this work, I hope to inspire reflection, environmental awareness, creativity, and emotional healing.
Where do you find inspiration?I sincerely believe that art is a healing tool. As a Waldorf educator, I am inspired by emotional learning, human connection, mindfulness, and the resilience of people. My work explores how emotions live within the body and how creativity can become a path toward expression, transformation, and renewal. Through art, I hope to create spaces that invite reflection, awareness, healing, and deeper emotional connection.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would expand Mindful Art Education (MAE) by creating inclusive art and mindfulness workshops for children and adults with disabilities, especially individuals with autism. The funding would support programs in schools, libraries, and community centers, combining art, emotional learning, and mindfulness. I would also collaborate with educators and therapists and create community exhibitions celebrating creativity, healing, inclusion, and empowerment through art.
