What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art to create is inspirational art—stuff that hits people right away. I like mixing strong imagery with lettering, using words or phrases that stick with you. Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in the streets, my family, and my culture. Being from Mexico pushes me to learn more about where I come from, and that shows up in my work. I’m also inspired by other cultures and just everyday life—plants, animals, people, textures, anything I come across. I’m always observing, taking in references, and turning that into something real

What would you do with $25,000?

If I won $25,000, first thing I’d do is take care of my family—take my parents on a trip to Hawaii and give them a break. I’d also put some of it toward dog shelters because I love dogs and want to give back. The rest I’d invest into my art—supplies, travel, and time to paint more murals, especially in communities that need it.
