“…My work is not meant to be seen, but felt. Thank you.”
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is large-scale figurative painting focused on human emotions and connection. I work mainly with oil and acrylic on canvas, exploring silence, intimacy, vulnerability, and the invisible emotional tension between people. I am especially drawn to the human figure because it allows me to express what words often cannot.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in human relationships, quiet moments, personal memories, and emotional experiences that leave invisible marks on us. A gesture, an embrace, silence between two people, or even solitude can become the starting point of a painting. I am interested in creating work that makes people feel recognized emotionally.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it in expanding my artistic career and creating larger, more ambitious bodies of work. Part would go toward improving my studio, materials, and professional documentation of my work. I would also use it to increase visibility through exhibitions, international opportunities, and connecting my art with new collectors who truly resonate with my vision.
